appropriate group, nor a more opportune moment to post. I've been
wanting to ask this for a while.

I guess Israel's infrastructure is a little tenuous as well. But

Is this to imply that military research is of such a controversial nature
that the rest of us should not be hearing about it? I thought it was pure,
basic, research. Am I waking up from some Socratic wet dream?

And are you capable of doing things already that won't be seen until the
next "war"?

Is it possible to have state of the art basic research in neural 
networks done, without a military overtone?

Or are Japan and Germany (and to a lesser extent Canada) parisitizing off
your militarily-motivated, trail-blazing research?
