Hello, I just started using NeurDS and I'm confused on a few things. I was hoping that someone could enlighten me. 1) in the log file, using the example bp.script -> thus bp.log. On the right hand side theres a "histogram" running down the file. "W"'s running straight down and "E"'s running parallel for a while and then moving away from the "W"'s: ok what does this mean? how are you supposed to interpert it? Also the "W" and the "E" move off to one side...??? 2) every so often theres a line: Loop 50: Wrong 4.000 Err 0,5166. The nubmers do change, i.e. loop 100, loop 150 etc. What does this mean and how are you supposed to interpert it? 3) at the end of the log file theres a: params 0.010 0.200 1.00 0.990 0.00 and under it is: level 1: 1.00 1.00 1.00 level 2: 1.00 level 3: 0.20 target : 0.00 unit 1, 0 val 1.00 err 0.0801 unit 1,1 val 1.00 err 0.101 etc... link 1,0 2,0 -2.124 -0.00090 link 1,0 3,0 -2.512 -0.000824 link 1,1 2,0 5.552 0.00167 etc... I'm confused, what does this mean and how are you supposed to interpert it? I'm tired and haven't gotten much sleep latey, so sorry for the simple questions; sometimes hand-holding is needed :-) Could you please e-mail me. Thanks for your time and help. -- David Doll Computer Science and Engineering Univ. of Washington Seattle, WA 98195 MS: FR-35 (206) 685-3061, 543-5075 davidd@cs.washington.edu
