The actual usable data capacity of the CD-ROM is spec'd around 750 Megabytes. I could find out the exact number if I dug through the pile on my desk to find the data sheets that came with the CD-ROM test disc I have sitting here. What Marty says about more errors at the outer edge is definitely true--there is a premium charged to the people who want to make CD music discs if they want to run over 59:59 (by most manufacturers). Of course, the reason you don't find the errors on those long discs is the whole reason for the premium you pay--they toss out the bad discs during testing. --Lauren--
