I while back, I posted a request for TCSH binaries on Ultrix 2.0. One or
two people at DEC followed up/replied that they would try to soon amke
available a pre-built version of TCSH for us binary-only Ultrix sites.
Has this come true yet? With the recent postings of the 4.3 diffs, I'd
suspect that there must already be running versions of TCSH on Ultrix 2.0
around the hallowed halls of DEC, as well as in severalother source
licensee's.
Woudl SOMEBODY please make this available? Please Please Please!

I just received the source for tcsh from one of the (original?) authors
at utai. This source does not require csh source and so can be compiled
by anyone (even me). In fact I compiled it under 2.0 just today. It is
available for anon. ftp on watmath. I can send it to you if necessary.
