Reply-Path: Here are two (hopefully) quick, unrelated questions: 1. Does anyone out there know how to remove old uid's from the quota's file, after the user has been removed? quotacheck and repquota still show the persons uid number (for example #321). 2. Has anyone found a way of protecting a LAT printer from ordinary users? I want to put our LN03 on the LAT, but it is not for student use. DEC suggested writing a front end to lpr that checked for the proper gid or uid. It's not a bad idea, but are there any other ideas out there? PS. I'm running Ultrix V2.0-1 on and 11/750.
