NetLandians, Anybody have any experience with the PC clones produced by GulfStream - an outfit in Florida? Price is EXTREMELY right, yet they seem to have a nice setup. Use some of the better boards available in the marketplace (Quadram, Persyst), high compatibility, VERY inexpensive. And now they have an 80286 system that is supposed to be PC compatible, but FAST. Prices - 8088 1 floppy drive system, 256Kb on a mother board, but no additional sockets, single serial port, no monitor, Keytronics keyboard, dealer cost $995. Full house 80286 system, 256 Kb RAM, MS-DOS 3.1, Quadram monochrome monitor, 2d serial port, parallel port, 10 Meg HD - around $3200. Any feedback on this outfit? (Incidentally, this is NOT an endorsement or commercial advertisement. Sincerely hope prices mentioned do not offend anyone, since they are only there for information's sake. I have no association with, etc...) Thanks in advance, David Kirschbaum ABN.ISCAMS@USC-ISID
