We have three uVaxII systems running 2.0 - We like to dump to our central system but find that rdump is a extremely slow compared to dump. We are reasonably certian this is not an artifact of the network. My guess is the default block size is small but the -B option doesn't seem to speed things up. What to do? Any help would be appreciated. hurf -- Hurf Sheldon Network: hurf@ionvax.tn.cornell.edu Lab of Plasma Studies Bitnet: hurf@CRNLION 369 Upson Hall, Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y. 14853 ph:607 255 7267 I sold my Elan, got a job in science; Now, no one takes me seriously.
