Has anyone modified the Berkeley line printer software to handle multiple printers in a single class? Specifically, we would like the default system printer destination to route the output to the next available LN03, preferably in a round-robin fashion. The configuration is a VAX 8810 running Ultrix 2.2. There are three co-located LN03s, which as a group should be considered "lp". We have source code. We're aware of BRL's mdqs, but were hoping for something simpler and smaller.
