Does DEC supply any information on writing device drivers for
Ultrix-32 ?? I just looked through the V2.2 manuals and
couldn't find anything. The reason I ask is that we've
made modifications to the 4.3 BSD DMF-32 driver to support
the synchronous port for SNA LU 6.2, PU 2.1. I know DEC
doesn't support the synchronous port of the DMF at all,
so we'll need to add this support. I'm also afraid that
DEC has changed the device-driver-to-kernel interface in
small ways from what we've been used to with 4.3 BSD - can
anyone confirm or deny this ?? As I recall, we had a device
driver for Ultrix V1.2 that broke when we installed it in V2.0.
