[comp.unix.ultrix] Need stack trace routine for C programs

I am doing code development on a VAX 3500 and a DECstation 3100, both
running Ultrix 3.x and using the cc compiler, not vcc.

I need to be able to generate a function call trace back from within a
C program.  How is this be done?  Does anyone have a routine that
does this already?  Hope someone can help.
