*** REPLACE THIS VARIABLE WITH YOUR LINE *** I have been trying to get some variables set up in my AUTOEXEC.BAT file for quite some time and don't seem to be able to get anything to work except inputing them in one line at a time. If I include them in a .BAT file, I get an error message stating there is not enough room in memory! I got a copy of an enlarged COMMAND.COM file from a friend and even this did not seem to bring enough room for the variables to be intalled. The variables that I am trying to install are the presets for HACK! I would like to be able to play as I choose without having to reset everything every time I want to play. Here is a copy of my AUTOEXEC.BAT file: echo off prompt $e[1m$p$e[m$g path e:\;e:\dos;e:\ctos;e:\bin;e:\edit;e:\bin\doit;e:\tools;e:\tools\turbo;e:\tools\turbo\tools set HACK=Joshin Josh set HACKDIR=e:\bin\games\hack\ set HACKLEVELS=e:\bin\games\hack\levels\ set HACKSAVE=e:\bin\games\hack\hack.sav;n Thanks, jbl ******* John LaRue; John Fluke Mfg.
