When I assembled my mono PMAX w/TK50, I was left with a flag piece of DEC-colored plastic that's about 8x10 inches with a little arrow at one side and a slot at the back. I can't for the life of me figure out where this goes. I've looked at the manuals, but didn't catch it. Anyone know what it's for? Dirk ``clearing the office clutter'' Grunwald

That's an optional base for the TK50. I don't when it is supposed to be used, but it might suitable if you want to put the TK50 box on a carpeted floor. All the BA40 boxes come with them. > > Dirk ``clearing the office clutter'' Grunwald -- Alan Rollow alan@nabeth.enet.dec.com

I've used it in situations where I've had to stand the box on its side. It looks nicer than a bare metal bottom, I guess. Cheers! Frank
