[comp.unix.ultrix] plastic domahicky with mono PMAX

grunwald@foobar.colorado.edu (Dirk Grunwald) (09/15/89)

When I assembled my mono PMAX w/TK50, I was left with a flag piece of
DEC-colored plastic that's about 8x10 inches with a little arrow at
one side and a slot at the back.

I can't for the life of me figure out where this goes. I've looked at
the manuals, but didn't catch it.

Anyone know what it's for?

its the cover plate for the bottom of the TK50 expansion cabinet.

That's an optional base for the TK50. I don't when it is
supposed to be used, but it might suitable if you want to
put the TK50 box on a carpeted floor. All the BA40 boxes
	come with them.

As a number of folks have stated, it's a cover for the "bottom" of the
TK50 or RZ55. I've used it in situations where I've had to stand the
box on its side. It looks nicer than a bare metal bottom, I guess.

Cheers!
