I'm running UWS2.1 on a VAXstation3100. The problem I'm going to describe also occurred under UWS2.0A. The first time I access the SCSI-TK50 unit after a reboot, I get the following entry in my errlog: ----- EVENT INFORMATION ----- EVENT CLASS OPERATIONAL EVENT OS EVENT TYPE 250. ASCII MSG SEQUENCE NUMBER 2. OPERATING SYSTEM ULTRIX 32 OCCURRED/LOGGED ON Tue Sep 12 17:10:39 1989 MET DST OCCURRED ON SYSTEM squirrel SYSTEM ID x0A000004 MICROCODE REV = 4. SYSTYPE REG. x04010002 FIRMWARE REV = 1. PROCESSOR TYPE KA420 MESSAGE CAUTION: TK50 unit 5 firmware revision _is 34, should be 45 or later! I also get a message with the same text on the console. Both the workstation and the TK50 unit were delived in May 1989. Does this message mean that it is outdated already? Any pointers are welcome.
