I'm having some problems with diskless nodes and quotas... Configuration: Caesar - mVAX II RA series disks RD54 series disks with the /user1 filesystem which has quotas enabled. Ultrix 3.0 Ming - mVAX 2000 running diskless, and booted off of caesar. Occasionally, a user will log in to ming, and be unable to create files, The message will usually be 'Disc quota exceeded', even though quota's are not configured into the kernal, and besides, they're under their quota on caesar anyway. running quota -a on ming shows that there are no quotas for that user ID. If a person logs out, and back in a couple of times , the problem will go away. The problem is not consistent to one user, nor to any set of events where I can duplicate the problem. Any help or pointers on where to look for the problem will be appreciated.
