[comp.unix.ultrix] Missing programs in /usr/bin

bin@primate.wisc.edu (Brain in Neutral) (01/03/90)

Well, this is nice! /usr/bin/plot allows options -T450, -T300, -Ttek, etc.,
and then exec's t450, t300, t300s, vplot, tek, and lvp16. lvp16 is in
/usr/bin, but the rest are missing! They used to be present (e.g., in
Ultrix 1.2).

Where are they? Or aren't they supposed to be anywhere?

The executables are in the base unsupported subset. I found this by doing a
grep in /usr/etc/subsets/*.inv, by the way.

% fgrep -f jnk /usr/etc/subsets/*inv | awk '{ print $1, $10 }'
/usr/etc/subsets/UDXBASE030.inv:0000 ./usr/bin/tek
/usr/etc/subsets/UDXBASE030.inv:0000 ./usr/bin/t450
/usr/etc/subsets/UDXBASE030.inv:0000 ./usr/bin/t300s
/usr/etc/subsets/UDXBASE030.inv:0000 ./usr/bin/t300
