We consistently have had a problem with the xterms not
scrolling or inserting lines correctly when using vi.
One has to do a ^L to see the inserts...
This showed up under Ultrix3.0 and has remained under
3.1 vax or risc. Some times it works correctly but we
haven't found any consistency except perhaps that the
login window is the only one it has worked correctly
in -is there some xdefaults setting to correct it we may
have overlooked?
