Hi. Does anyone know how to configure a mass bus controller on a 750. I have need of the jumper configation. This controller will drive a Tu77 TAPE drive. Any Ideas? Rob E-MAIL Rob.Montjoy@uc.edu

Each has some jumpers on the rear of the backplane that define the address and priority for the MBA in that slot. There should be a decal on the back of the cover for the rear of the backplane that shows something cryptic about which slots are which - also the massbuss slots have some (probably) blue guides where the cables to the mass bus connector plug in. I'd simply try each slots until your auto-conif admits the the presence of a mba0. If you have a 750 printset the jumpers are probably in there, also the Emulex SC750/SC700X manual has the info, else you may have to break down and call DEC... -- George Robbins - now working for, uucp: {uunet|pyramid|rutgers}!cbmvax!grr but no way officially representing arpa: cbmvax!grr@uunet.uu.net Commodore, Engineering Department fone: 215-431-9255 (only by moonlite)
