My problem is simple. How can I setup 1 DECstation 3100 to serve 2 diskless DECstation 2100 without having 2 copies full copies of ULTRIX on the 3100's disk. Also I would prefer it if the client stations root directories didnot have to be on a seperate disk partition to the server's root directory so that some of the configuartion files could be hardlink across between the the directories. Does anyone have any idea or arguement for or against what I am trying to do. Please mail responses and I will post a summary if enough interest is shown. Thanks. Andrew Sleeman asleeman@waikato.ac.nz
