To those asking for documentation/instructions on software packages: If the documentation that you got with your particular purchase doesn't tell you how to use it, take the thing back to where you bought it as demand your money back. No one should have to suffer through having to out-guess the designer as to how something like this works. Demand proper documentation! On the other hand, if you "obtained" it by bootlegging it, don't ask the whole net.world to come to your assistance in ripping off the developer of the software. Figure it out yourself, or (better yet) go purchase a legitimate copy and get your instruction sheet. keith ericson at teklabs

In light of the interest in the HD64180 chip, I have placed a copy of my presentation foils on the HD64180 in: MICRO:<CPM.GENDOC>HD64180.WS While they are sketchy (and designed for a presentation), they contain a lot of summary information, including the instructions extended beyond the Z80, how the memory management unit works, how the various interrupt modes work, etc. For those of you in the Dallas area, I'm giving this presentation tonight (15 Aug) at the Metroplex CP/M Interest Group meeting at Dealy (sp?) Recreation Center. These are the foils for the presentation. Enjoy! Rick -------
