I have been successfully using the PBM-PLUS package to convert from
scanned images in TARGA (.TGA) format to encapsulated PostScript (both
color and B&W), as well as to .GIF files, for previewing with xgif. It
would also be useful to be able to generate DDIF files, for inclusion in
DECwrite (aka Frame) documents. Although one can include the
encapsulated PostScript, it only displays the bounding box in the
editor. It is also easier to use the dxpaint (paint) program to pixel
edit a ddif file, than having to use the TARGA.
So, I guess the question is, does anyone have a filter that could be
used with the PBM-PLUS package of filters (an OUTSTANDING package) to
generate DDIF format files?
