We are having an odd problem and I wondered if anyone had encountered it before (and maybe solved it...): The setup is: IBM Model 30 with a Univation ethernet card running TCP/LINK software and MS DOS 3.3. The Problem: When logging in to our DECstation 3100 (Ultrix, version 2.2 I think) and using Gnu emacs much of the file is turned to garbage on the screen. It kind of looks like a flow control problem. What makes the problem odd is when we use the same setup and log in to one of our Sun's everything works fine, and when we use a terminal and logging in to the same account on the DECstation and everything works fine. So it seems to be some odd interaction of the pc, emacs, and ultrix. The problem does not seem to occur in vi.
