Hi all you slip master out there. I need help on setting up slip. I ran the following : /usr/new/slattach <somenetwork> with debug turn on(ie db in acucap. and got : gen.c: cspeed=-1, dspeed=-1 Entering generic dialer routine for sl_network num = 9,1234567 dTncs = dialstr = ATDT respsync = OK compstr = charup 1 hangup 1 dtr 1 lsleep 1 stupidi 0 dialdel = 50000 cdelay = 50 dialterm = dtr delay = 0 gensync d d 41 54 d DELAY input: AT OK gendial dials = ATDT9,1234567 waiting for carrier carrier detected input (failed): 2 online failed gendisconnect gendisconnect at this point slattach dies. slattach thinks that it got carrier before the modem even started to dial. In the mean time, the modem make the phone call and get connected. The modem is connect to a LAT port. I can tip to the port and get connected.
