[comp.unix.ultrix] trnsf. txt. btwn. Emacs and DECterm

kbesrl@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu (09/09/90)

When I cut some text from a GNU Emacs buffer using the mouse, I can paste it
on an "xterm", but not on a "DECterm". Is there a way I can transfer text
between "DECterm" and "Emacs buffer". I am using GNU 18.55 with X option.

Thanks.

What mouse button are you using to paste the text in decterm?
You should try using the right mouse button to paste in decterm.

The above style conflicts should be resolved in the next major
release of DECwindows workstation software.
