On SunOS, and maybe others, a very handy command named gcore(1)
creates a core image from a running process (without affecting
the said process).
Does anyone know where, if at all possible, to get it for Ultrix 3.x
and/or Ultrix 4.x?
Regards
mla

Install ULTPGMR030 or ULTPGMR400 depending on your version of ULTRIX. It will end up in /usr/ucb/gcore. Please note that these the VAX/ULTRIX subsets. It isn't available for the DECstation. p.s.
