We're going to be setting up a lab of DECstation 5000/200 PXGs where students will be using the systems on and off all day. I've noticed that the DECwindows server grows in size over time (like the X11R4 server does), and I can't find a way to restart the server like I can with X11R4's xdm. I'd like to restart the server after someone uses the Session Manager to quit their session so the server starts out small and only grows during the current user's session. Rebooting the system is not an option. Is there a way to do this? I suppose its (DEC's server) is not fully xdm compliant? steven parkes --------------------------------------- University of Illinois Coordinated Science Laboratory steven@pacific.csl.uiuc.edu -------------------------
