I am interested in expanding the RAM on my IBM PC/XT from the 256K
that came with the machine.
Can someone give me some pointers on how to do this and answer some
of my questions?
1. How many and what kind of chips to buy?
2. Best source (Microprocessor Unlimited ?)
3. Installation (replacing the old chips with new chips or more to
it)
4. What needs to be done after installation?
The dealer, from whom I bought the machine, took care of setting up the
machine initially. Also, I have very little experience with the PC/XT.
Any response would be greatly appreciated!
