I just finished installing a DS5000 and Ultrix 4.0/UWS and am having a few problems. 1) the CDA viewer (dxvdoc) runs up to an enormous size and eventually seems to exhaust the existing swap space and causes the X server (Xcfb) to be reset (basically, bumps me off and restarts Xcfb and comes up with the Xprompter). This happens with even very small ddif files. dxvdoc just seems to go nuts and makes everything swap and blows up. 2) maybe related to 1), the Xcfb seems to grow in virtual size rather continually (starting out around 2400K and growing to maybe 10,000 - 12,000K). It seems to happen no matter what apps i run (DEC and non-DEC) Any X application seems to make it grow and not release the pages. Is this a problem or is Ultrix just not grabbing the pages back that aren't needed any more?
