Hullo, I hope someone can help. We have a DECstation 3100. I am trying to connect an LA100 to the printer port on the back of the console. No luck. I get nothing. My site specific reference guide is missing, and I am unaware of what port to configure. In addition, at one point I had plugged a terminal in the serial port of the console and logged in no problem, now however, I get nothing. I've checked all my communication settings, no go. What is going on? Our DECstation did mysteriously 'die' a few weeks ago. Wouldn't power up at all. Next day, it was alive again. We were so overjoyed, we looked no further and figured the computer gods took pity on us. So now, here I am with no printer, no terminal, and a bunch of angry users. Anyone out there with Ultrix know-how who knows where I went wrong and can explain things to a VMS person is welcome. Thanks in advance. - Miles - Email to maoursler@miavx0.bitnet
