Can anyone out there help me with information on PC service contracts. Questions I have are things like * What can you expect to pay for service contracts ? * How much does the price vary with quanity of PC's ? * Do the rates differ widely for on sight vs take in service ? * Do companies usually provide loaners ? * How do people usually handle off brand equipment ? * Does the price usually include peripherals (printers, modems, etc) ? * What is the typical repair time for these services ? * Do they come through with what they promise ? * What kind of experiences have people had with PC service contracts ? I have a friend who is considering getting a PC service contract and would like to know any information he can get about them.
