Ultrix 4.0 has SLIP on the tapes. It is part of the unsupported software DEC includes. If you look in the Unsupported Software section of the manual under 'slatch' (or something like that), you'll find what you are looking for. I think that uunet has some of the sources on their ftp server. --- Michael R. Install the ULXBASE400 subset (for Ultrix 4.0) and rebuild the kernel with psuedo-device sl added to the config file. From some comments in this group I don't believe SLIP works in Ultrix 3.x, and I haven't tried it myself.
