[comp.unix.ultrix] Missing routines for bind 4.8.3 in Ultrix

C.Chaundy@its.unimelb.EDU.AU@ucsvc.ucs.unimelb.edu.au (Chris Chaundy) (10/31/90)

Trying to build bind 4.8.3 under Ultrix V4.0 - routine mkstemp is missing from
Ultrix but apparently mktemp can be substituted. Does anyone have or know
where I can get routine p_time (used by nslookup)?

p_time() should be in res_debug.c from the BIND 4.8.3 distribution. If you
don't have it, I can send you a copy. The resolver library has some changes
from what is in the ULTRIX libc, so you'll to be using the 4.8.3 version.
