We have a DEC 5400 running ultrix 3.1, and a DEC diskless 2100 workstation. We want to bring up the 2100 as a client of the 5400. The 2100 came with tapes for the Workstation v2.2. After loading the Workstation tapes onto the 5400, and then proceeding to create the new client, via the dms command, dms fails because is cannot find the /dlenv0/diskless/dms.i file. I am assuming that dms.i is called to create a new client, and that it should have come off of the Workstation tapes loaded onto /dlenv0. But, searching all the filesystems, with the command find, failed to locate the file. My question is: where does this file come from? Did we miss a step?
