[comp.unix.ultrix] Now available: hardware specifications for DEC RISC workstations

mogul@jove.pa.dec.com (Jeffrey Mogul) (11/20/90)

Documentation for DEC RISC workstation hardware may be obtained via
FTP. Connect to "gatekeeper.dec.com" (username "anonymous"; give your
own name for a password) and change to directory "/pub/DEC/specs".
(There are other interesting files in "/pub/DEC"; in particular, the
directory "/pub/DEC/TriAdd" contains a lot of information on the
TurboChannel bus.)

The files are all stored as compressed PostScript files. You must
use binary mode ("type binary" should work) when retrieving them,
then use "uncompress" to obtain usable PostScript.

Please do not ask me to mail you these documents or to provide them
by any other means; I will simply ignore your request. They are available
only in PostScript form.
