Please help define /etc/printcap for IBM 4019 Laser Printer for Ultrix 4.0 (or other un*x platform). This question is forwarded for James Rastellini. Replies may be made to Jim (rastelli@turing.sdc.tasc.com) or to the poster of this article. Jim has been trying to throw together a printcap for the IBM 4019 laser printer running off of the /dev/tty01 serial port of a DECStation 2100. The station is running Ultrix 4.0. DEC has not been able to help, saying "it's not our printer." He says he's interested in what others may have for the fc, fs, xc, xs, LF and CR settings. If anybody has had success (or similar failure), a reply would be greatly appreciated. If sufficient interest warrants, I will post a summary.
