This drive needs a scsi 2 controller to work 2. The drive also requires a 15 mhz controller This drive is a hot off the press and although i have seen one and the specs look great neither I nor anyone i know has actually installed one. IF you are referring to the 8 inch 2382?? fujitsu drive you will be pleasantly surprised, i have installed a number of them using the emulex qd35's and qd33 controllers without a hint of a problem. A formatting hint is follow the recommended configuration suggestions provided by manufacturer and all should go well.
