Has anybody out there in netland noticed that when doing an ipcs ala system V shared memory/semaphore/message queue utility, Utrix reports the keys shared memory id in 2's complement decimal rather than a more usable form of hexadecimal. It believe that this is an OS bug since it reports in hexadecimal on perhaps 30-40 other system V compliant systems that we have in house. >IPC status from /dev/kmem as of Wed Dec 12 12:08:39 1990 >Message Queues: >T ID KEY MODE OWNER GROUP >q 0 -1393950206 --rw-rw-rw- root system >q 1 -1393622016 -Rrw-rw-rw- root system > >Shared Memory >T ID KEY MODE OWNER GROUP >m 0 -1393797357 --rw-rw-rw- root system >m 2 -1393819754 --rw------- root system >m 3 -1393731821 --rw-r--r-- root system > >Semaphores >T ID KEY MODE OWNER GROUP >s 0 -1393754113 --ra-ra-ra- root system >s 1 -1393688577 --ra-ra-ra- root system Does anybody else have this problem? Does anyone have an e-mail address to dec to report the problem? Thanks.. -- +++++ Just leaving a boring signature. ++++++++++++++++++++++ Todd Cooper (uvmark!todd@merk.com uunet!merk.com!uvmark!todd)
