We like to convert an application running on VMS using DEC's DBMS to ULtrix. Is there any equivalent of "DBMS" for ULTRIX? Are there any third party CODDASYL database? Thanks. !ecsvax!uncw!sanghvi

The only CODASYL database for Ultrix I know of is the MDBS system from Micro Data Base Systems Inc. P.O. box 248 Lafayette, Indiana 47902 (800)344-5832 The database id, as far as I know, available only for VAX Ultrix, although a RISC version may be planned.
