We have several machines with a fairly similar NFS configuration. I want to use their cycles to compile. SunOS has the (error-prone) ``on'' command allowing you to execute a command ``on'' another host. I'm looking for something similar for Ultrix, but which assumes you have the same file system layout, or at least close enough. Ideally, it would load balance a little, and only use idle machines. I would prefer that this be something simple I could interface with e.g, Gnumake, since I tend to use GNUmakefiles.
