[ This line intentionally left blank. ] I am looking for a cheap laptop computer. My needs are modest. One disk drive will suit me fine. It must have a battery which will last at least ten hours. Built-in screen would be nice. And some sort of programming language (BASIC, FORTRAN, Pascal, etc.). That's about it. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Bondwell has a laptop that sells for $999. One 3.5" disk drive, 25x80 LCD screen, parallel and serial ports, optional internal modem (300 or 1200 baud), CPM operating system, software bundled (word-processor, spreadsheet, BASIC, communications, etc). I haven't played with any, but it sounds like a good deal. ** standard disclaimer, I have nothing to do with Bondwell, etc **
