One problem we are having >with MacX Version 1.1 is as follows: We also are having a peculiar problem with MacX on Ultrix 4.1. One of our machines does not seem to like users logging in from MacX. If a command is executed remotely from MacX by a user, no response occurs at all. Root is able to execute commands without difficulty. If a user gives an incorrect password, the response comes back from the DS5000 saying that the password is incorrect, but if the password is correct nothing comes back from the remote machine. I can rlogin to the machine, and execute rsh commands from other Unix boxes of various flavours without difficulty. And if I telnet into the DS5000 and set my display to the Mac, I can display xterms without a problem. The difficulty is obviously related to remote command execution, but I am completely unable to trace it down. --scott
