g'day. i am attempting to get my 5000/200 onto the net but dec in its infinite wisdom chose to provide support no support for hayes modems. 'uucico -r1 -sname -x9' with debug (:db:) turned on in the acucap entry being used shows the fault occurs in the generic dialer routines, just as the other modem answers. dialing out through kermit using the ATDT commands works fine. any hints would be appreciated. barry. -- ~~~~~~~ ..walkin on the beaches, lookin at the peaches
