-- We have been using sendmail successfully to relay our email to/from a VAX running PMDF, form our Decsystem 5100 under Ultrix 4.1 (risc). All mail was being relayed to the VAX for sending out to the outside world .(we are not on the internet). However we have just implented the BIND service on the Ultrix m/c and since then sendmail just hangs up. It will not try to relay to the Vax..it just seems to be searching for hosts which are not in the dns or the /etc/hosts database.
