Hi there, I am using a DECstation running Ultrix 4.1 and have a number of X- software that I want to run. The problem is that they use the root window and using DECwindows, nothing is displayed when they are run. From the small amount of reading in these newsgroups I noticed that there is often a virtual root window over the read root window and that a file called vroot.h should be used to access this virtual root window. My problem is that this still does not work. I have ftp'd vroot.h from other sites and it doesn't work. So, can anybody help me out. I would be very grateful, if somebody could either point me to a piece of code that will do the above for me or give me the code 'cos my programming experiance on these systems is not great.
