Has anyone managed to get Perl to compile under 4.2, using gcc or cc? I got gcc 1.39 to compile, and it basically works, but can't seem to get to some of the #defines in <signal.h> and doesn't like <setjmp.h>. Also, if anyone got g++ to compile, I'd appreciate pointers. Was it very different from 4.1? --david

Yes, it builds very easily using the MIPS C compiler supplied with the OS. I believe that if you look in the FAQ in comp.lang.perl you will see the answers to the config questions that I used to accomplish this. - Marc -- =========================================================================== Marc Evans - WB1GRH - evans@decvax.DEC.COM | Synergytics (603)635-8876 Unix and X Software Consultant | 21 Hinds Ln, Pelham, NH 03076 ===========================================================================
