Our Decstation does not want to send UUCP mail. UUCP works to the sites, but sendmail insists that it cannot reach them. It prints the message next to the R$*<@$~Z.UUCP$* rule (something like Site xxx is not connected to yyy via uucp). I refroze (sendmail -bz) as root. I even took it down to single user and refroze (it says so somewhere, although I don't know why). Didn't help. Anyone have an idea what to do now? -- ITEX is a project of the Jerusalem College of Technology and is funded in part by the Ministry of Science and Technology and by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The class Z referrred to in your article should equate to the names of the systems in the L.sys file (/var/uucp/L.sys) 1. Make sure that the line FZ.... 1) correctly points to an existing file and 2) is not commented out. 2. If that doesn't work you can try commenting out the ~Z line you mentioned. Fred
