In hopes of saving money on an already expensive system, my associate has decided to buy a third party SCSI disk to hang off of a DECstation 5200. Has anyone out there had problems with partitioning (or formatting)? The DECstation has the "standard" DEC SCSI controller. Any do's or don'ts that he should be aware of when it comes to formatting or partitioning? How about for the disktab/format.dat entries? Can he possibly use newfs and make it work? :-) Thanks in advance, \\Lee thx1138@nyu.edu
