The title says it all. I was under the impression it would be shipping early in August. -- VE6BBM {alberta, pyramid, uunet}!ncc!lyndon lyndon@Nexus.CA

Yeah, we have it, and I think it is a real improvement over version 3.X. So far, we have had no particular trouble with it. A while back I posted a request for ideas about how to spool through an Annex box from UNIX. Well, with 4.0 comes an rtelnet program. It works well, and I only needed to make some small cosmetic changes to it. It hooks an annex port up to a pty, making a transparent connection over the net. We have hooked both line printers and laserwriters to it with no trouble. The connection is reliable and bidirectional. _ /| Dave Feldman \'o.O' david@dsl.cis.upenn.edu =(___)= Ok, cough! Annex B4.0 (beta) has been out to beta sites for several weeks now, and last week the final R4.0 image was built. Tapes and documentation will be ready shortly and those with support contracts should be getting them in a few weeks.
