The University of Minnesota (*DULUTH CAMPUS ONLY*) will be changing the IP numbers for all of its hosts on Sunday, June 11. The domain affected is "d.umn.edu". For info-encore subscribers... The major UNIX machine on campus, an Encore Multimax named ub.d.umn.edu will change from 128.101.32.6 to 131.212.32.6. ub.d.umn.edu is the hub mail exploder for the info-encore mailing list. Starting on Sunday, users mailing to info-encore should verify mail is being sent to the new address. Sites using BIND should get proper name-to-IP mappings soon after the switch. Others will need to make the required manual changes. If you have trouble reaching the new IP address after 6-11, please try to let me know (I guess by phone, how archaic!).
