I need to determine the load average under UMAX V 2.2f. The inq_stats
system call that is used for, among other things, this purpose in UMAX 4.2
is undocumented in UMAX V. It is there, but is apparently only implemented
for networking statistics. And reading reading the "avenrun" variable from
the kernel doesn't work either. It isn't there (but then, nobody said that
it should work). And the documentation doesn't say a word on how to get the
load average, as is the case with almost all UNIX'es out there.
IF you know ANYTHING about computing the load average under UMAX V,
PLEASE do NOT hesitate to send me an e-mail, or post it to comp.sys.encore.
Any pointers, info, straight code etc is most welcome.
