What is the maximum length of cable that can be used with the Annex parallel printer port? Also, what type of cable was used to make the recomended distance? Flat ribbon, round shielded? Is there any difference in the spec on length, between the Annex I and Annex II? Curious minds would like to know, i.e., the printer can not always be located where the Annex is. Is the port equiped with drivers/receivers, such that it can handle 30, maybe 40 feet? Al Irwin Univ of Illinois Dept of Comp Sci Urbana, IL irwin@m.cs.uiuc.edu
